Textile Art / Textile Design

At the intersection of art, craftsmanship and design, you will create unique individual pieces and develop series-oriented textile applications. The program cultivates sensitivity to texture, color and form as well as the targeted use of materials, with sustainability and a willingness to experiment being equally important principles. The textile designs are reflected in a wide variety of fields of application: from textiles for interiors and clothing to designs in public spaces, from industrial contexts to textile-related research. This broad spectrum promotes discourse on the social relevance of textile design — far beyond aesthetic perception. Traditional techniques and modern technologies enable you to develop functional, aesthetic and innovative textile solutions and implement them professionally.
