General admission requirements

Relevant university entrance qualifications are required to study at a German university. You can check whether you meet the requirements for studying in Germany on uni-assist or on the anabin website.

If, according to the evaluation guidelines of the Central Office for Foreign Education Bonn (ZAB), you are granted an indirect university entrance qualification, you must first complete the one-year preparatory course (Feststellungsprüfung) at the Studienkolleg Zittau/Görlitz.

If you do not meet the language requirements for direct university admission but have a German B1 language certificate, you can take a DSH (German Language University Entrance Exam) preparation course at the Studienkolleg Zittau/Görlitz.

Both FSP and DSH courses are free of charge. However, you cannot apply for these courses directly. You must apply for a degree program at our university first.

Specific requirements

Some degree programs also require specific prerequisites. These can be, for example, certificates or internships and work experience. You will find this information in the description of the degree program (see WHZ courses of study).
