Applied Artificial Intelligence (Bachelor)

Artificial intelligence is transforming businesses, but the technology alone does not yet deliver any benefits. The key lies in integrating it into decision-making and business processes. This is precisely where the Applied Artificial Intelligence degree programme comes in. You will learn to deploy AI applications systematically, to assess their benefits, risks and limitations, and to embed them responsibly within organisations. To this end, the programme combines business administration and computer science: right from the start, you will work with data, code and AI systems, applying them to business management issues. The focus is on practical application: you will learn to select suitable AI technologies, integrate them into existing processes and manage their operation. In the fourth semester, you will specialise in two out of three subject areas (Marketing, Finance, Logistics). Legal and ethical issues surrounding the use of AI are also an integral part of the programme. The programme is aimed at anyone who wishes to bridge the gap between business and technology and is not looking for either a pure computer science degree or a traditional business administration degree.
