From 1 to 5 June 2026, WHZ hosted the 3rd International E-CANDEE Training Week. International academic partners from Europe, Central Asia, and the Caucasus came together in Zwickau to discuss double degree cooperation, digital education, sustainability, micro-credentials, and international project development.The program included keynote speeches, workshops, project meetings, expert lectures, networking activities, and visits to WHZ facilities, including Ubineum and the University Technology Center.The Training Week strengthened international cooperation and supported the continued development of the M.Sc. in Management and Information Technology—double-degree program.

Examination registration is open from 25 May to 21 June 2026. The examination period will take place from 6 July to 24 July 2026. Further information on registration and examination procedures is available in the Important Information section of the website.

In order to get to know Zwickau and also Saxony better, visits to restaurants, cafés, museums and events in Zwickau, an excursion to Leipzig and a welcome party on October 24 at the student club Tivoli are planned.

German Intensive Courses – Summer 2026

Prepare for your studies at WHZ by joining one of our German Intensive Courses before the Winter Semester begins.

The courses are specifically designed for international students and are available at all language levels.

What is offered?

In-person courses for all German language levels.
An interactive online A1 course for students who cannot arrive in Zwickau by early September.

Important:
No general beginner (A1) German courses will be offered during the Winter Semester. Students with no previous knowledge of German are therefore strongly encouraged to complete one of the preparatory A1 courses before the semester starts.

Scholarships and support

We were supported by a professional crew from the Sons of Motion GmbH in Leipzig. The footage from our modern campus Scheffelberg and our library is great and they even caught some cool impressions of some laboratories.
