Examination Boards
The examination boards monitor compliance with the examination regulations of the study programmes and decide on applications by students or lecturers for the application of the regulations. These include:
- fundamental questions in examination matters
- free attempt and admission to the improvement of grades
- Recognition of periods of study and examinations
- Objections to the assessment of examination/student work examinations
- Decisions on the rejection of a reason for failure to attend or withdrawal from an examination/student work examination
- Extension of the time allowed for the Bachelor’s thesis
- Extension of the regular period of study
- Change of type of study (full-time/part-time study)
In addition, the examiners and co-examiners are appointed by the examination committees.
