Practical Modules

In particular, the internship of several-weeks-long  is a mandatory part of the undergraduate Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs. This mandatory internship allows students to apply their theoretical knowledge from their studies in practice, to gain initial experience in their future profession, or to gain insights into different professional fields. Since the student remains a member of the WHZ during the internship, regular re-registration at the beginning of the semester is necessary.

The Regulations for Practical Modules govern the details of the mandatory internship (duration, objectives, requirements, content, formalities, etc.). The internship regulations and registration forms can usually be downloaded from the homepage of the respective faculty. They often also provide a contract example tailored to the faculty's internship. In addition, the general contract example can be used:

In addition, there is always the possibility of completing additional voluntary internships in addition to the compulsory internship (practical module).
