Resumo: 

Reflete-se sobre uma história documentada mais recentemente por uma página da comunidade surda da Rússia. Amplia-se, portanto, o horizonte da reflexão sobre as fontes históricas sobre educação de surdos e mostra-se como o advento da internet favorece acesso a informações sobre surdos de regiões do mundo que são pouco divulgadas no Ocidente. Através do site da VOG, retoma-se a história da educação de surdos na Rússia e abrem-se perspectivas para outras pesquisas e considerações sobre um contexto em viva mobilidade. Tem-se como pano de fundo as diversas transformações vividas pelo país.

Zusammenfassung:

Dieser Beitrag befasst sich mit der in jüngster Zeit auf einer Webseite der Gehörlosengemeinschaft in Russland dokumentierten Geschichte des panrussichen Gehörlosenverbandes (WOG). Im Mittelpunkt steht die Reflexion über historische Quellen zur Gehörlosenbildung. Dabei wird gezeigt, wie das Aufkommen des Internets den Zugang zu Informationen über Gehörlose aus Regionen der Welt begünstigt, die im Westen wenig bekannt sind. Auf der WOG-Website wird die Geschichte der Gehörlosenbildung in Russland nachgezeichnet und es werden Perspektiven für weitere Forschungen und Überlegungen vor dem Hintergrund der verschiedenen gesellschaftlichen Entwicklungen in Russland entwickelt.

Abstract: 

This chapter shares some thoughts on a history more recently documented by a website hosted by the Russian deaf community. It expands the horizon of reflection on the historical sources on the education of deaf people. It shows how the advent of the internet favors access to information about deaf people from regions of the world that are little known in the West. Through the VOG website, the history of deaf education in Russia is resumed, and perspectives are opened for further research and considerations on a context in living mobility. It has as background the various transformations experienced by the country.
